Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 3pm, at weekends or on bank holidays are dispatched the next working day. Every UK service is fully tracked and you get a tracking link by email as soon as your parcel leaves us.

Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man go by Royal Mail International Tracked at £17.95 and take 3 to 5 working days.

United States delivery

Orders to the United States go by UPS Express and arrive in 2 to 4 working days. Delivery is $9.95 and free on orders over $150. US orders are priced in dollars and all duties and taxes are paid at checkout, so there is nothing to pay when your parcel arrives.

Worldwide delivery

We ship to over 200 countries. Delivery is free, with no minimum spend, to Europe, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand, as well as the markets listed below.

From £43.95 for India, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, Morocco, Kazakhstan and the Caribbean. From £60.95 for Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Nepal, Lebanon, Jordan and most of Africa. From £67.95 for Turkey, Iceland, Serbia, Ukraine, Albania, Andorra, Gibraltar, Greenland, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bosnia and San Marino.

Duties and taxes

There are no surprise fees. On international orders, import duties and taxes are either already included in our prices or added and paid at checkout. There is nothing extra to pay to the courier when your parcel arrives.

If a parcel is refused or returned because customs charges were not paid, it comes back to our UK warehouse and we can only refund once it reaches us. In that case the original delivery charge is not refunded, any import charges billed to us on the return are deducted, and a £30 handling fee applies.

Returns and exchanges

You have 14 days from receiving your order to request a return or an exchange, and your parcel needs to reach us no later than 28 days after delivery. Items must come back unworn, unwashed and unused, with the original tags attached and in the original packaging. Sale items can be returned in the same way as full-price items. We cannot accept returns on anything bought anywhere other than kid-west.com.

Returning from the UK

You are sent a Royal Mail returns label and a QR code, so you can print the label at home or show the QR code at a Post Office and let them print it. Pack the items securely, in the original packaging where you can, and drop the parcel at a Post Office. A £5 fee is deducted from your refund, which covers the label, processing, quality checks and restocking.

Returning from outside the UK

We cannot issue a pre-paid label outside the UK yet, so instead of a label you are given a return reference and the address to send your parcel to. Post it back with any tracked service you like. Return postage is at your own cost, and a £5 restocking fee is deducted from your refund. The parcel must be sent DDP, duties paid, and marked as returned goods. If it reaches us with duties or taxes still owing, those charges come off your refund as well.

Refunds

Once your return reaches our warehouse and has been checked, we refund to your original payment method, less the return fee. Please allow up to 6 working days from the day your parcel arrives with us. Your bank may take a few days more to show it.

Exchanges

Choose the exchange option in the returns portal when you submit your return. Once we have received and approved your original item we send the new size out, subject to stock. If the size you wanted has sold out by then, we refund you instead.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Email info@kidfromthewest.com with your order number and a photo and we will put it right at no cost to you. We cover the return postage and either refund or replace the item. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you have 30 days from receiving a faulty item to reject it for a full refund.

Orders

If your order has not been dispatched yet we can usually change the size or the address, or cancel it. Email info@kidfromthewest.com with your order number as soon as you can, because orders placed before 3pm on a working day go out the same day. Once it has been dispatched you can return it instead.

Some sold-out sizes can be pre-ordered, which reserves the piece for you. The expected dispatch date is shown on the product page before you add it to your bag, and we email you as soon as it ships. Where a size is sold out and not available to pre-order, select it on the product page and use the notify me option and we will email you if it comes back.

Sizing and care

Every product page has a size guide with the measurements for that style, along with a find your size tool. Most pieces are already cut oversized, so take your usual size for the fit shown in the photos and size down if you want it closer to the body. Full measurements for every garment type are on our size and fit page. Fabric, weight and fit for each piece are listed on its product page.

Wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle with similar colours, and avoid tumble drying so the print and the fit are not damaged. The care label on the garment always takes priority.

Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Discover, plus Apple Pay, Shop Pay and PayPal. In the UK you can also pay in instalments with Klarna or Clearpay, and both appear at checkout. The amount per instalment is shown on the product page under the price.
