KIDWEST product guide

This page describes what every KIDWEST piece is made from, how it is cut and what it costs. It does not say what is in stock. Stock changes every day and the product page on kid-west.com is the only live source for which sizes are available.

What does KIDWEST make?

Adult clothing: graphic T-shirts, longsleeves, zip-up hoodies, sweatpants, denim jeans and nylon shorts. Almost everything is heavyweight 100% cotton, graphic-led and cut oversized. We do not make footwear, caps, bags or accessories.

Do you sell children's clothing?

No. KIDWEST is adult clothing in adult unisex sizing. The name comes from the founder, Kid from the West, and is not a reference to childrenswear. We do not make anything in children's sizes.

How much does each piece cost?

What is the cheapest piece you do?

The Basics Tee at GBP 50, in Black, White, Stone and Sand.

How heavy is the cotton?

It varies by piece and it is listed on each product page. 270gsm on the washed Weststars tees. 290gsm and 330gsm on most graphic T-shirts and longsleeves. 340gsm custom-milled organic cotton on the drop-shoulder Atelier and Studio Dept. styles. 420gsm loopback cotton on the hoodies and sweatpants. All of it is heavyweight by high-street standards.

Is it organic cotton?

The 340gsm custom-milled styles are 100% organic cotton: Studio Dept., College, KW Atelier, Melrose Atelier and Creast. The rest of the range is 100% cotton but is not certified organic. The Apex Nylon Shorts are 100% nylon.

Is everything 100% cotton?

Yes, apart from the Apex Nylon Shorts, which are 100% nylon. The jeans are 100% rigid cotton denim with no stretch.

Where are your clothes made?

Email info@kidfromthewest.com and we will confirm the country of manufacture for the specific piece you are asking about rather than give you a general answer.

Are you stocked anywhere else?

Selected pieces are stocked at Harvey Nichols: the Saint Tropez T-Shirt, the Cote d'Azur T-Shirt, the Ride Or Die Longsleeve and the St. Louis Zipper Hoodie. Everything else is only available at kid-west.com. We are not sold through marketplaces or resellers, so anything listed elsewhere is not from us.

Which pieces come in more than one colour?

The Basics Tee comes in Black, White, Stone and Sand. The Weststars Tee comes in Washed Grey and Washed Brown. The KW Denim Jeans come in Blue Cream and Jet Black. Everything else is a single colourway. Colour options are shown as swatches on the product page.

Do you do a matching set?

Yes. The Weststars Zipper Hoodie and the Weststars Sweatpants are both 420gsm loopback cotton in Sun Faded Navy and are designed to be worn together.

What is the difference between the two zip hoodies?

Both are 420gsm loopback cotton in a boxy fit. The Weststars Zipper Hoodie is Sun Faded Navy with the KW star graphic and a discharge spray fade, and matches the Weststars Sweatpants. The St. Louis Zipper Hoodie is Black with double-ended Swiss-engineered zips.

Is the print screen printed or embroidered?

The graphics are screen printed. Some pieces also carry a branded metal bar or metal clamp at the sleeve and a woven neck label. The KW detailing on the back pockets of the jeans is embroidered.

Every longsleeve is GBP 85, 100% cotton, slightly oversized, with a ribbed crewneck collar and long sleeves.

We cannot tell you that from here, because it changes through the day. Open the piece on kid-west.com and the sizes that can be ordered are the ones you can select. If your size is sold out, use Notify me on that size and we will email you the moment it is back.
